Krista and Mark’s wedding weekend at Blair Hill Inn in Greenville, Maine, was one of those weekends where every event had its own personality.

They kicked things off with a Kentucky Derby-themed welcome party, and their guests absolutely committed to the theme. There were statement hats, Derby-inspired outfits, plenty of food and drinks, and lots of time to mingle while taking in the views of Moosehead Lake. It was such a fun way to welcome everyone and get the weekend started.

Then came the wedding day, and the details were just as personal.

Flowers were everywhere, including beautiful arrangements hanging from the chandeliers and a floral ceremony arch that made a statement without taking away from the incredible scenery surrounding Blair Hill.

One of my favorite details was the custom-printed cloth napkins. Each one featured artwork created specifically for Krista and Mark, incorporating little pieces of their story and things that were meaningful to them including Blair Hill Inn, a moose, and a chess piece. The same personal touches carried throughout the weekend, from the invitations to the signage.

And then, just when everyone thought the night was winding down, there was one more surprise: fireworks over Moosehead Lake.

It was the perfect way to end a weekend that was so clearly designed around Krista and Mark. From the Derby hats to the custom artwork to the fireworks, every part of the celebration felt intentional and personal.

That’s what I love most about wedding weekends like this. The details aren’t just there to look pretty, they tell a story.
